Another visit to mom this week took me past her home town, Woodstock, Ontario. I was passing just as the sun set, so pulled off the 401 and stopped in the parking lot of the Toyota Manufacturing Plant.
The clouds were strange and wonderful.
I arrived just as the shift was changing and an army of cars followed me in, driving a path that echoed the clouds.
But that soon changed. The cars lined up in tidy rows in the massive parking lot as the sun went down behind the clouds’ shifting and vibrant abstraction.
In other news…
Although my drive along the 401 corridor on the 16th was uninterrupted by Idle No More activity, I did get a chance to check out the January 11th actions in Peterborough.
There are an interesting assortment of symbols and implications in this particular snap.
I had to share.
