Postcards From the Drawing Room, 2019, was a temporary photo studio where people were invited to wear their favourite get up, get their photo taken and walk away with a set of small portraits. Laurel Paluck of The Drawing Room had costume pieces and props on hand for those who wished to use them. Photo sessions took about ten minutes and over the course of six hours, I shot 29 portrait sessions. It was exhausting but very fun. I think the results are lovely. I hope you do, too.
I’m doing an evening of quick, take home portraits. If you’re in Peterborough and out and about on Friday, February 1st, swing by Atelier Ludmilla on Hunter St. between Water and George. (The Drawing Room is up a flight of stairs – so not fully accessible).
