A freind of mine is volunteering at the PrimRose Donkey Sanctuary.

This week she invited me to come out to snap some shots of the donkeys and other beasties and to meet Sheila Burns, founder and donkey care taker.

Please check out their web site to see the wonderful work Sheila and the volunteers do to rehabilitate and take care of these lovely donkeys.

There are so many curious and friendly animals there, I couldn’t choose just four or five to post, so here, to warm up your late winter, are some cute pictures of happy donkeys, ponies, cats, pigs and a sheep. Oh, and my lovely friend Mel, who invited me out.
