Ice Crystals

Another set of abstracts.

And more ice.

This time it’s snowflakes meeting frost on my neighbour’s beautiful, rusting 1969 Parisienne.

I like how the crystals form and melt slightly differently on each surface.

And the lichen still clinging from summer makes for some excellent colour variation.

It’s all buried under snow now, but as we get melting and freezing over the winter, as we seem to do these days, I’ll be seeking out new shapes and forms to snap.

Who knows what this season will bring.

    1. Thank you! Maybe next summer I’ll do a study of the Parisienne. It’s a beautiful car long since dissolving into rust. But it still has it’s form and stunning lines.
