You may have noticed that I haven’t posted in a long time.
I’ve been caught up in a big project here at home.
Partnered with the Endeavour Centre‘s Sustainable Building Course, I am renovating a concrete out building attached to my house.
It’s a 20 year dream come true.
Check it out.
And here are some links that you might find useful about some of the materials.
I’ll put up another set of photos when it’s all done.
And there will be a final open house on September 26 in the evening if you’re interested in checking it out in person.
When it’s all done, I hope to get back to my regularly scheduled photo posts.
Ester, thanks for sharing this. It is amazing what you/they have done. I do walk by every so often to look. Brian
It’s very exciting!
I also hope you can come for the next open house or stop by for a cup of tea and a tour.
Esther, this is an amazing reno! That earthen floor is beautiful. Such a great learning project for everyone. I can’t wait to see it all finished. Joeann
Thanks! It’s quite an adventure.
Absolutely fantastic.
I hope you’ll be able to stop by and see it in person.
Esther, very impressive. Very progressive. May you enjoy it for many years.
Thank you!
Diederik! I didn’t see this comment until today. THanks for linking to your blog! I wish I could read Dutch. I’ll have to get you to translate it all for me some day. Thank-you so much for everything you did to help with the reno. I’m so happy to have met you and hope that you learned a lot and enjoyed your summer working on my crazy renovation.
Until we meet again…
