I was down at Rice Lake this week.
One of my favourite spots.
There was a mist coming up off the water, the air was warm and still.
The rocks and concrete on the shoreline were striking and distinct in the filtered sunlight.
The buoys hovered and pointed toward the clouds.
As though tracing the sun’s path across the sky.
