I’m in Vancouver once again for Dusk Dances.
I missed posting yesterday. The internet connection at the hotel is… disappointing. But here are the couple of photos that I’ve been able to upload.
The beautiful view of Grouse Mountain behind our location…
… and the beautiful local piece Three-Tone², Choreographed by Karissa Barry, performed by her, Lara Barclay and Kirsten Wicklund.
If you’re in Vancouver do what you can to make it out for tonight’s final performance. It will be worth the efffort to get here just to see “Duck Dances” choreographed by Amber Funk Barton, Jennifer Mascall and Susan McKenzie.
A dance performed by an inclusive collection of people inspired by the landscape of Crab Park with dogs and wheelchairs of all types and parasols and smiling faces and one touching and affirming moment after another.
Looking forward to coming again in August in Toronto! Rowan still talks about last year’s performance.
We’ll have to try for another quick meet up between my crazy running around. 🙂
Am in Vancouver… Very curious to see this and you
Jane! I’m just heading to the airport. Show is done for this summer, but we’ll be back first week of July next year. 🙂
Should have said something sooner
I’m terrible at promoting the shows I work on. I guess that’s why I’m technical management and not marketing and promotions. Ha.
Crap…
Next year for sure.
