I’m taking off on tour next week with Dusk Dances.
So this week I’ve been staying pretty close to home enjoying my garden. Things have been growing well this year. Like this lovely plant, Astilboides tabularis, or what Curtis, who gifted it to me refers to as “Big Leaf Betty.”
Big Leaf Betty has some delicately busy flowers coming up just now.
So does my Ribbon Grass (Phalaris arundinacea).
In fact many of my plants are in flower. Like the Wild Geranium (Geranium sanguineum)…
… and the Gazania, which a friend encouraged me to buy for the garden this year. I’m glad I did.
The cats, although not in flower, seem to be having an excellent time lazing about amid the greenery and showyness of July.
It’s put them both in an excellent and friendly mood.
