Trenton Storm

trenton_storm_beforeI drove home from Montreal yesterday.

It was a long, beautiful drive. The weather was lovely, at least until I saw this cloud (above) looming ahead of me once I rounded the 401 at Gananoque.

I didn’t look that bad going in…

… but it was intense. Behind the barn in the photo above (which was taken from the “other side”), you can see a very dark patch that comes down to ground level. It’s right over Trenton and driving through it was like driving through a hurricane.

We’re coming up to that time of year. Sudden storms are on their way.

Enjoy the storms, but don’t doubt their power. That was one crazy ride.
