Spring is officially here. The equinox passed on Thursday and we’re into the season of growth. It doesn’t entirely seem that way, though. Cold days, colder nights and still there is snow flying. But today it was warm(ish) and sunny and it kind of felt like spring.
Out on the edge of town, the snow has melted quite a bit and there are patches of ground with last autumn’s grasses still lying dormant, waiting for the cue to start turning green.
I have seen a couple of robins in mom’s backyard.
They’re here, although they might be wondering why.
This guy found a patch of grass to bob about in. He looks quite content.
Here’s to looking forward to warmer weather and greener pastures.
