115 South and North

115snow01I headed home to visit mom for the holidays Wednesday and had to pull off the 115 to catch a snap of the silvery glow on the highway from the streak of sunlight shining through the snow clouds.

115snow02Turning back north, the view looked much like one of my mother’s paintings would have looked if she had painted the scene.

Heading home, looking back.

Feels very appropriate for this time of year.

  1. Indeed this highway with it’s three temperate zones produces spectacular imagery. Many times I have snapped stills through my windshield on my daily commute, but have never taken the time to capture the moments as you have. Thank You Esther.
