It looked like it was going to be a good sunset night. So I high-tailed it to the river to grab some shots. The river was at low water, so I could stand about six feet in from the bank. A perfect view.
The last week of really busy weeks. I only had one chance to take photos. Oddly, they look similar to last week’s photos. This week, though, I had my “big” camera and break times were just so timed that I caught the sky just before the storm (above)…

The other night we had freezing rain that stuck to everything. Dangerous driving, hard to walk on the sidewalks. In the morning everything was coated in ice. I grabbed my camera and ran out to take shots of the sparkly prettiness. Read more “Dam (at low water)”
We’ve had such beautiful clear weather recently it’s been hard to find a dramatic sky. Earlier this week it started to turn fall-like again with wind and rain and this intense sunset over Little Lake. The sky was the same colour as the trees behind me.

The Peterborough Folk Festival was last weekend. I was quite sleepy that day, but I wandered over to rotary park and was glad I did. What a sight.
