The renovations are still being finished up. A few little details before I can get an occupancy permit and before I can take the final ‘finished’ photos and make a second post with the last months of reno adventures.

I went for a walk with a friend out at the Harold Town Conservation Area this week. I had never been to this beautiful park before. The view from the top of the first hill on the trail (above) is well worth the climb, especially at this colourful time of year. Read more “Big Skies, Little Critters”
I’ve been grooving on my macro lens recently. I’ve wanted one for years and now that I have it, I am feeling the joy. For example, this lichen in Warsaw Caves park. Looks like shag carpet or a furry coat. Read more “Macro Abstract and Pigs”
I got to spend the weekend camping at Port Burwell Provincial Park.
It was ostensibly a birding weekend, but I don’t have lenses for wildlife photography. I did check out the birds, but my photos were much closer to the ground.
