Fall Power

I was passing this field of wheat and power lines and thought I’d stop to take a picture of the cell tower towering above the trees.

We’ve carved out huge swathes of otherwise undamaged land to make way for them.

But there is something so purposefully strident about their appearance. And, I suppose, without them, you wouldn’t be seeing this now.
