This is Bill Kimball and Laurel Paluck. They’ve been working to help make Artsweek happen.
I got them to take a bit of time out of their busy schedules to don their rubber boots and stand in the rain last Sunday to be a part of the project.
I have to say, I’m very excited for you all to see the final video slideshow of the photos. They’re all beautiful and the collection of them illustrate how unique and adventurous the Peterborough community is.
Watch for Going Down to Jackson as it is projected on buildings downtown. The first sneak preview will be tonight, Friday, September 18, 2015 at the Artsweek opening party at Artspace (378 Aylmer St N) from 9pm to 11 pm.
Then later next week it will, with any luck, be projected on other buildings around town. I’ll update with the full schedule once it’s all arranged.
There were a total of 37 shoots in locations that stretched from the mouth of the creek at Little Lake all the way up to one of the sources over in Emily Township.
And now, my boots are resting in the sun against my back fence, drying out and waiting for their next opportunity to clamber over the rocks and banks of Jackson Creek.
