Out for a drive this week I got to take in some more of the beautiful autumn colour.
The fields are reaching the end of their season and the last of the harvests are coming in.
This is Greg Traynor‘s soy field.
It had been raining for days before I arrived to say hello. He was waiting for a stretch of dry weather to bring in the crop.
Late in the week the skies cleared and we’ve had warm days.
I’m hoping he got a chance to get the harvester out and get it done.
Some fields are already cleared, but on the edges of them, the leaves are still burning with brightness.
We’ve been spoiled by this extended and vibrant fall. My eyes are full to bursting.
