Development and Progress (Also SPARK photo festival and Workshop)

image of sunset over snowy fieldDriving out to the north of town I turned my head to see this lovely burnished sunset hovering over a fallow field.

It was directly across from a construction site that’s been under construction for some time.

image of power shovel with barn in snowI last stopped at this spot over a year ago.

At first I thought maybe they weren’t getting much work done, but as I walked away from the shovel I could hear the “back up” beeping of dump trucks a fair distance behind me.

The new subdivision is being laid down deep into the forest that used to stretch across the area.

Feeling a little put off by the enormous chunk of land that has been cleared just to make an entrance to a subdivision I headed west.

How long? How long until this is all paved, piped, powered and propertied?
