Mom was in town, so we had to take our annual trip to Sandy Beach to get a few laps in the water.
We certainly weren’t alone in thinking this was a good way to spend an afternoon.
We’ve had a lot of hot, dry weather this month. A drought, even. But one night, while we were out for dinner, some incredible storm clouds rolled in right before sunset.
I was caught without my fancy camera, but once again, the clouds were so incredible that it didn’t matter.
The colours changed in seconds.
The cloud shapes changed just as fast.
It was everything my little cell phone could do to keep up.
So for those of you aspiring to take great photos, but are worried you don’t have the right gear – keep in mind that it’s the right subject and being there at the right time that makes for 90% of a good shot. Gear is only secondary.
