Pumpkins

image of pumpkins in the field

Out on Lansdowne St. West almost to highway 7 there is a lovely pumpkin patch. When I showed up, a gentleman was harvesting them. I asked if I could walk through the field to snap some photos. He was hesitant but agreed. Maybe pumpkins have souls and he wanted to save them from being captured by my camera.

On another note entirely, here’s a snap I did for some promo for an upcoming theatre show. All Saints Parish Hall at the corner of Rubidge and Sherbrooke.

Spooky.

      1. Perhaps he was nervous; being a gentleman for the most part – upon this fateful day he was merely seeking a gourd time.
And he was right! These pictures DID end up internetted!
        Nice work, EV.
